Course Description

The aim of the course is to enhance participants’ understanding of the application of Information Communication Technologies in business organizations. This course will familiarize students with the way in which information and communications technologies (ICTs) are used in organizations to provide decision-relevant information and to enable them to understand how systems are designed and implemented to meet organizational needs. Students will have a sound basis for understanding the functioning of any information system they may encounter in practice, and should be able to relate its features to the conceptual enterprise framework presented in this course. This should allow them to be informed consumers and users of information and communication technologies.
